This client is seeking an individual who can demonstrate previous key account and sales team management, someone who has planned, managed, and progressed successful sales accounts teams. Your career may have evidenced previous experience within an educational and learning capacity, with a proven track record in maximising revenue through the inclusion of apprenticeships and professional memberships, steered towards rapidly evolving client needs and market challenges. In return you will receive an attractive salary of £45,000 plus an end-of-year target bonus of £25,000 and an exceptional list of employee benefits.
As Key Account and Sales Team Manager, you will collaborate with the team to encourage, coach and develop their sales and account management skills, leading from the front in terms of key account nurturing, developing and increasing financial return and growth within existing client accounts.
Your sales team is jointly tasked with generating high-value revenue streams, whilst identifying extended growth within existing client accounts, therefore experience in managing through KPIs, sales targets and performance monitoring is key to the success of this role. There is a need to measure, develop and deliver exceptional levels of customer success through continuous communication with key accounts, and consistently looking at new and innovative ways of growing and developing new business opportunities, therefore understanding the product, the purpose and the objectives is paramount.
Ideally, we are seeking a candidate with knowledge and experience gained in the digital IT solutions sector, someone who has worked with and understands fully the end-point assessment process within educational learning and delivery. Educated to a minimum of A Level Standard (or similar), with exceptional verbal and written communication skills, combined with advanced working knowledge of MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, SharePoint, and Salesforce) due to the regularity and consistency of data capture, management, and client correspondence.
As a natural influencer, you will possess excellent communication skills, able to present and deliver outcomes with colleagues, your peer group, key stakeholders, and suppliers. Suited to a candidate who has worked with both operational and financial budgets and targets, able to analyse complex data, with excellent knowledge of sales methodologies whilst delivering new business results.
There is a need to frequently visit client sites and suppliers, therefore a willingness to travel is a pre-requisite
