THE ROLE
We arelooking for an experienced and detail-oriented Data Analystto join our analytics team. This role involves unlockinginsights from customer, marketing, and site performance data, andproviding actionable recommendations that will drive growth andoptimise the customer journey. You will work closely withcross-functional teams and senior leadership, helping to shapestrategies based on data. A strong background in D2C eCommerce, Advanced Google Analytics, andSQL is required, with the ability to providetraining and mentorship across teams to support self-serve analytics.
RESPONSIBILITIES
* Customer & Marketing Analytics: Performdeep dives into customer behaviour and marketing performance, focusingon segmentation, customer lifetime value, churn analysis, andconversion optimisation. You will use these insights to informacquisition and retention strategies and optimise channel spend.
* Advanced Google Analytics & Event Tracking: Manage and analyse data from Google Analytics ,setting up and optimising event tracking to measure user behaviouracross the site. Experience with event measurement (e.g., page views,clicks, conversions) is critical for optimising the digitalexperience.
* Attribution Modelling & A/B Testing:Implement multi-touch attribution models to evaluate theeffectiveness of marketing channels. Lead A/B testing initiatives formarketing and support CRO manager, ensuring rigorous statisticalanalysis to derive meaningful insights that improve customerengagement and drive sales.
* Data Reporting &Dashboards: Build and maintain robust reporting frameworksusing BI tools such as Tableau or Power BI, creatingdynamic dashboards for marketing, product, and finance teams. You willensure stakeholders have access to real-time data for informeddecision-making and performance tracking.
* SQL & DataManagement: Use advanced SQL to extract,clean, and manipulate large datasets from various sources. Your SQLexpertise, including the use of window functions, will support ad-hocanalysis, reporting, and ongoing optimisation projects.
* Cross-Functional Collaboration: Workclosely with marketing, product, e-commerce and finance teams toensure that data-driven insights align with business goals. You willcollaborate on key initiatives, such as customer journey mapping,product performance analysis, and budget optimisation.
* Training, Upskilling, and Mentorship: Provide basic training and guidance to help cross-functional teams(e.g., marketing and product) use analytics tools to self-serve datafor their needs. Upskill and mentor junior team members andstakeholders to foster a culture of data-driven decision-making acrossthe business.
* Data Storytelling & Senior LeadershipPresentations: Synthesise complex data into clear andactionable insights that can be presented to senior leadership.Develop and present compelling narratives around customer behaviour,marketing effectiveness, and business performance to guide strategy.
* Continuous Improvement & Innovation: Stayup-to-date with the latest trends in eCommerce and Marketing analyticsand propose innovative approaches to data analysis, ensuring thecompany remains competitive in the premium fashion space.
THE PERSON
* D2CeCommerce Analytics: Proven experience in analysing and optimising D2CeCommerce performance. You must have a strong understanding ofcustomer journey metrics and the unique challenges of selling directlyto consumers online.
* Advanced Google Analytics: Deepknowledge of Google Analytics, including event tracking and customreporting, to monitor and measure user interactions on the website andimprove the overall digital experience.
* Advanced SQL Skills:Expertise in SQL, including the ability to write complex queries usingwindow functions, joins, and subqueries. You must be comfortableworking with large datasets from relational databases, ensuring dataaccuracy and efficiency.
* BI Tools: Proficiency in BI toolssuch as Tableau, Power BI, Looker or similar to create dashboards andvisualisations for various teams, ensuring that data is accessible andactionable.
* Attribution & A/B Testing: Strong understandingof attribution modelling and statistical principles behind A/Btesting. Experience designing, executing, and analysing experiments tooptimise conversion rates, marketing spend, and user experience.
* Cross-functional Collaboration & Training: Experience workingacross teams to align data insights with business goals. Provenability to provide training, mentorship, and upskilling fornon-technical teams to foster self-service analytics.
* DataStorytelling & Communication: Strong verbal and written communicationskills, with the ability to translate complex data into clear,actionable insights for senior leadership and stakeholders.
* Strong ability to work collaboratively across teams,balancing the needs of marketing, product, and finance.
* Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to turnbusiness challenges into analytical opportunities.
* Highattention to detail and organisational skills to manage multipleprojects simultaneously and ensure accuracy.
* Passion for dataand a proactive approach to staying updated with the latest trends andtools in eCommerce analytics.
* Fashion Industry Knowledge(desired but not essential): Previous experience in the fashionindustry is a bonus, but a passion for premium fashion andunderstanding consumer behaviour is essential.
* AdditionalSkills (desired but not essential): Experience with Python or R foradvanced data analysis is a plus, as is knowledge of advancedstatistical techniques to improve predictive modelling capabilities.
