Outline of Role
As a Process Engineer, the successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the pre-production process from bid stage to production release.
Remuneration and Benefits

Key Duties and Responsibilities
The process engineer’s role is to support pre-production activities to ensure the project’s technical requirements are understood from bid stage through to production release. This role supports sales, procurement, projects, QA, and technical functions within the business.
* Create engineering master routing templates.
* Manage manufacturing routings and estimate quote corrections.
* Handle drawing change management.
* Support sales and estimating, including technical reviews and manufacturing capability discussions with clients.
* Review equipment and plant capabilities to meet customer orders and BOM requirements.
* Provide manufacturing routing that meets customer contractual and specification requirements.
* Ensure efficient manufacturing process routing steps.
* Ensure routing packs carry all relevant drawings and are updated to the correct revision.
* Liaise with other departments regarding customer requirements, specifications, drawings, and BOMs.
* Prioritize workload according to requirements.
* Participate actively in meetings.

Education and Training
* Time-served engineer.
* Minimum of 5 years welding/machine shop manufacturing experience.
