Receptionist/Administrative Assistant Location: Kidlington Job Type: Full-time Salary: £25,000 - £27,000 Reed are currently recruiting on behalf of a well-established company based in Kidlington for a dedicated Receptionist and Administrative Assistant. This role is crucial in ensuring that the office operations run smoothly and that they consistently make a great first impression. The successful candidate will be the face of the company, handling a variety of tasks from administrative support to client interaction. Day-to-day of the role: Answer the main phone line, transfer calls, and take messages as appropriate. Manage incoming and outgoing post and general email inboxes, ensuring proper distribution. Welcome visitors and manage visitor sign-ins and security procedures. Maintain a tidy and welcoming reception area. Order and maintain office supplies, including stationery and kitchen supplies. Liaise with office suppliers, such as cleaning services and plant suppliers. Conduct regular safety checks and assist with emergency procedures. Support the organisation of events, meetings, and company briefings. Assist with administrative tasks related to environmental, social, and governance (ESG) initiatives. Provide ad hoc administrative support to the management team as required. Required Skills & Qualifications: Excellent ability to use MS Office programs, including Word, Excel, and Outlook. Strong communication, problem-solving, and multitasking skills. Ability to prioritise tasks and use initiative. Good pass at GCSE, or equivalent, in Maths and English.
