We provide farmers in the South and South-West of England automated milking and feeding solutions, and specialize in 24/7 service across the territory. The Role
We're looking for a Group Sales Manager to join the team. Their core responsibilty's are developing the sales organization of both Lely Centers with the aim of growing the adoption and market share and capturing the full potential across both areas, increasing efficiency and profitability, building long-term customer relationships and ensuring customer satisfaction.
As a key member of the Lely Center's management team, you will be expected to travel to both centers in Babcary and Holsworthy. With other frequent travel required throughout the South and South-West territory to visit clients and attend networking events.
Activities
* Sales Activities: Visit potential and existing customers to conduct sales activities.
* Team Support: Assist sales consultants during customer visits.
* Customer Feedback: Collect and follow up on customer feedback regarding Sales Advisors.
Sales Strategy & Development
* Planning: Develop annual sales and marketing plans, long-term strategies, and handle forecasting and budget monitoring.
* Campaigns: Create strategies and campaigns to expand the Lely product portfolio for new and existing customers.
* Market Analysis: Follow market trends, propose commercial activities, and analyze market and sales data.
* Proposals: Develop commercial proposals and explore financing solutions for customers.
* Budget Management: Ensure sales targets and budget goals are met, and approve exceptional deals.
Stakeholder Management
* Networking: Build and maintain relationships with stakeholders, suppliers, and other parties in the dairy industry.
Management & Organization
* Team Management: Guide, coach, and motivate the sales team to achieve targets and budget efficiently.
* Skill Development: Ensure Sales Advisors' knowledge and skills are up to date, set targets and KPIs, and monitor progress.
* Lead Generation: Assign responsibilities to generate new leads.
* HR Responsibilities: Handle hiring, development, performance management, leave approval, and expense declarations for the sales team.
