We're looking for a Supply Chain Manager for our client, a growing manufacturing company in Leeds, committed to delivering top-quality products. We're looking for a dynamic Supply Chain Manager to drive our client's end-to-end supply chain strategy, lead a small talented team across procurement, inventory, goods inwards, stores, and distribution, and help them streamline operations to meet their business goals.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Strategic Leadership: Develop and execute a comprehensive supply chain strategy that aligns with business objectives, driving cost efficiency, quality, and improving service levels.
2. Lead the Way: Own the supply chain strategy from sourcing to delivery, ensuring efficiency at every step and aligning supply chain strategy and activities with sales, production, and business goals.
3. End-to-End Supply Chain Management: Oversee the entire supply chain process, from sourcing raw materials to delivery of finished products, optimizing every step for maximum efficiency.
4. Strategic Sourcing & Outsourcing: Identify and manage outsourcing, make vs. buy, and low-cost country sourcing opportunities.
5. Team Management: Lead and inspire teams across procurement, inventory, stores, and distribution (UK & International logistics).
6. Continuous Improvement: Optimize processes to reduce costs, improve lead times, and boost delivery performance.
7. Supplier Relations: Build strong partnerships with suppliers and negotiate favorable terms.
8. Data-Driven: Use data and KPIs to make decisions and drive results.
