Are you a confident, self-motivated and enthusiastic individual, with a passion for Weddings & Events? Montalto Estate is currently recruiting for a full-time experienced Weddings & Events Executive. This is a maternity-cover position. This role will include managing expectations of our customers, to a very high level, at our three event venues, Montalto House, The Coach House and The Carriage Rooms at Montalto, along with events throughout the estate overall, including weddings, corporate and public events.
This is a full-time post, subject to a successful probationary period, with 31 days paid leave per annum.
The Role:
The main purpose of this role is to manage the successful delivery of events, and a variety of other event related administrative duties, as detailed by the Venues & Events Manager.
It will involve creating a wonderful client experience, and ensuring that all planning and coordination is delivered as agreed on the day.
You will have significant responsibility for health and safety, along with guest welfare.
The successful applicant will be required to complete venue viewings, follow-up on and manage events to a positive outcome, stock management, and manage maintenance of facilities.
A measured and confident outlook, high personal standards, and excellent attention to detail are all essential to undertake this role.
You will be required to report directly to, and work very closely with, the Venues & Events Manager.
Due to the nature of events, this role will involve an ability to be flexible according to the needs of the business.
It will be important to be able to build and maintain relationships with a wide array of customers and suppliers. Training casual staff, and coordinating appropriate staffing levels for events will form part of this role.
The salary on offer (to be discussed at interview stage) will depend on experience and be competitive for the role.
