BASIC SALARY: Up to £42,000 basic salary door to door

JOB DESCRIPTION:
Field Service Engineer, F GAS, Refrigeration Engineer, Electrical Engineer
You will be working as part of the largest environmental service team in the UK, usually covering a minute radius of Oxford. So you know you will be home regularly with few overnight stays.
On rare occasions, you might be asked to help further afield to cover holiday/sickness, but only in extreme circumstances.
Usually working only one job per day, service/maintenance, calibration, or reactive breakdown and diagnostics work covering controllers, refrigeration circuits issues, electrical components, and PLC updates - so plenty of variety for you.
You will be led by an experienced hands-on service manager who joined the business as an apprentice many years ago and has developed through the service team.
There is overtime work if you want it too.
PERSON SPECIFICATION:
Refrigeration Engineer, Electrical Engineer, Service Engineer, F GAS, Field Service Engineer
As our Field Service Engineer, you will:
1. Be competent electrically and mechanically with suitable refrigeration circuits and climatic systems.
2. Be happy with some installation work, but predominantly service and diagnostics.
3. Be competent to work alone or as part of a team post your product and systems training.
4. Be electrically qualified, ideally 17th/18th edition and have your FGAS & ODS Regs 2079.
5. Have practical work experience covering commercial/industrial refrigeration, chillers, or similar.
6. If you have cascade experience - that would be advantageous.
