Construction Litigation - Partner - Up to £180,000 salary
The Role
This is an excellent opportunity within a leading boutique practice who are looking to bring in a Construction Partner to expand its offering and to further develop its presence in Manchester.
The firm provides specialist advice to a mixed portfolio of clients including large corporations and ultra high net worth individuals. The Construction team are regularly instructed to advise on large-scale construction disputes relating to a mixture of transport, engineering, energy, and infrastructure projects in the UK.
You’ll need to be dynamic and motivated by the challenges of working on the most complex of disputes as well as have the drive to help this department flourish.
The role requires extensive knowledge and strong experience in Construction disputes, adjudications, and arbitrations along with a good working knowledge of standard forms. As this is a partner/senior opportunity, you will need to possess strong networking skills and the ability to generate leads. Whilst a following of work would always be welcomed, it is not a requirement for this role.
The Candidate
* Construction Litigation Lawyer with at least 8 years of post-qualification experience
* A portable following would be advantageous
* Commercial awareness of client and firm requirements
* Contribute to the overall firm strategy of growth
* Support the development of junior fee earners in the team
* Collaborate with other partners and fee earners in the wider firm
* Excellent connections and relationships
