We are excited to be recruiting a Registered Services Manager into our Senior Operations Team to lead in enabling 1625ip to successfully deliver new Ofsted regulations on supported accommodation for care-experienced young people.
This is a new post offering an exciting opportunity to shape and improve services, and place 1625ip in a strong, compliant state of readiness for Ofsted regulation and inspection, as this post-holder will be responsible for ensuring compliance and upholding quality standards across all 1625ip registered settings.

Who are we?
We are a leading youth homelessness charity based in the Southwest, working with over 1,500 young people. What you will be doing:
• You effectively engage with Ofsted to build relationships, ensure compliance, including timely and accurate notifications.
• You are super-organised and efficient, taking accountability for your work, and with great attention to detail and an ability to effectively audit, analyse, and identify improvements.
• You work effectively in partnership with multiple, cross-sector agencies, including local authorities, regulatory bodies, building strong relationships and communicating well.
• You guide and support service leads and teams across Ofsted-relevant services to ensure sufficient understanding, confidence, and compliance; including engaging with young people to listen, learn and improve; this entails regular visits to, working from Ofsted relevant sites.
• You are practised at leading projects, sustainable change, and service improvements. Ofsted have a requirement that a Registered Service Manager must have experience of having worked for at least two years, within the five-year period before the day on which they apply to register, in a position relevant to the residential support of children or adults.
You will be in Senior Operations Team and your line manager will be our Programme Manager (Accommodation).

Contract details:
• Hours per week: 25 hours per week
• Contract type: Permanent
• Pay: £38, 626 - £41, 511 (£25,493.16 - £27,397.26 pro rata based on 0.66 FTE)
• The location: You will be based in Kingsley Hall, close to Bristol’s main train and bus stations as well as the vibrant city centre. There is also flexibility and support to manage working from home.
