The Job
Key Responsibilities:
* Design and develop pipeline systems for the transportation of oil, gas, and other fluids.
* Conduct feasibility studies and risk assessments for new pipeline projects.
* Oversee the installation, testing, and commissioning of pipeline systems.
* Monitor and maintain existing pipelines, ensuring compliance with safety and environmental regulations.
* Perform inspections and integrity assessments, identifying and addressing potential issues.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including project managers, environmental engineers, and construction personnel.
* Prepare technical reports, project documentation, and regulatory compliance submissions.
* Utilize advanced software and technology for pipeline design and analysis.
* Stay updated with industry trends, standards, and best practices.
The Profile
* Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
* Professional Engineering (PE) license preferred.
* Minimum of 3 years of experience in pipeline engineering or a related field.
* Proficiency in pipeline design software (e.g., AutoCAD, CAESAR II, Pipeline Studio).
* Strong understanding of pipeline materials, construction methods, and industry standards.
* Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
* Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
* Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
* Knowledge of relevant safety and environmental regulations.
