This is an exciting opportunity to be involved in the new Third Party Brands Business Unit, supporting the Brands Sustainability & Safety Manager within a cross functional team incorporating our Brand partners, Plan A & Sustainability teams, and internal stakeholders. The role will be perfect for someone who is passionate about sustainability and project management. Key to the role will be understanding the M&S Plan A strategy, clear communication both internally and externally, with attention to detail. This role will play a critical part in helping the business deliver both the Brands strategy and the Net Zero strategy, with the ideal candidate being passionate about driving change within a supply base. To stay close to customers, our support teams are in the office three days a week as we believe that skills are developed through collaboration, and that spending time together makes us more creative and connected. What you’ll do Your key accountabilities will include Co-ordinating Brand Sustainability and Safety actions and project management. Liaising with Brands and internal teams through the process to the agreed critical path. Resolve queries and issues for stakeholders and Brands. Supporting Brands with M&S Sustainability and Safety documents, including kick off meetings and project plans across different product types, business units and operating models such as Wholesale, Consignment and Dropship. Maintain and grow the mapping and scoring of Brand partners along their sustainability journey. Support Business Development team to get a clear view of our partner Brands Net-Zero strategy and raw material journey. Reporting Brand Sustainability and Safety status to stakeholders, including weekly dashboards and planned launches. Gathering insights and feedback on product. Provide information to the Business Units and Operations team, to identify improvements, ensuring that the Brands sustainability and safety process is industry leading and fulfils our desire to be the best partner to do business with. Who you are Your skills and experience will include Experience working with Brands as a Sustainability Administrator Implementation of technology, in embedding processes and systems to support the business functions.
