QHSE Manager
Norwich
Contek are recruiting for a QHSE Manager to join an established team in Norwich. This company is a leading supplier within their niche and has a variety of manufacturing capabilities to oversee.
You will be responsible for all QHSE activity on site, promoting a positive culture surrounding the subject and ensuring you meet all regulatory requirements on site.
Duties include:
1. Maintaining and updating the QMS working to ISO9001 standards.
2. Ensuring the quality of work produced meets required standards.
3. Managing and overseeing the Quality Department and providing supervision where necessary.
4. Customer/Supplier focused and dealing with any concerns raised by external/internal parties.
5. Ensuring compliance with HSE requirements as registered by the HSE governing body.
6. Conducting audits regularly.
7. Ensuring training is delivered to staff to keep them up to date with QHSE.
8. Conducting risk assessments and controlling risk on site.
9. Recording and investigating HSE issues (Accidents, Incidents, and Near Misses).
Essential Requirements:
1. Proven experience within a QHSE role.
2. Working knowledge of ISO9001 standards.
3. Experience in auditing.
4. Relevant HSE qualifications such as IOSH and NEBOSH.
5. Ability to lead and instruct a team of employees.
6. Organise and manage your own and your team's activity.
Hours for the role: (39)
Monday to Thursday: 08:00 - 17:00
Friday: 08:00 - 13:00
