About The Role The Supervisor of Order Management and Inside Sales is pivotal to Precor, blending the operational oversight of order management with the strategic elements of inside sales. This position involves supervising a team responsible for the accurate and timely processing of orders and driving sales opportunities from within the company. The ideal candidate will ensure customer satisfaction, operational efficiency, and sales growth through effective leadership and management. This is a working supervisor position. The supervisor should assist the team with order management responsibilities, helping to balance the workload. Responsibilities Monitor team performance and customer calls, providing regular feedback, coaching, and training to ensure continuous improvement Oversee the entire order processing cycle, from order entry through delivery, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely fulfillment of customer orders. Develop and implement effective sales strategies and processes Leads Inside Sales staff in meeting the needs of their customers by explaining their contribution’s effects on the company's success. Leads by example in manner, tone, attendance, punctuality, integrity, safety, cost consciousness, follow-through, etc. Establish and maintain strong relationships with clients, identifying and addressing their needs to ensure customer satisfaction Prepare and present reports on team performance and other relevant metrics to senior leadership as needed. The ability to collaborate cross-functionally to ensure alignment on sales strategy and maximize opportunities. Enforces company policies and provides resources to employees as needed Work closely with other departments, including finance, operations, and product management, to ensure seamless operations and address any issues affecting order processing for sales Qualifications Bachelor's Degree emphasis in Business Administration, Sales, Marketing, or a related field 5 years of experience in order management, inside sales, or a similar position, with 1 year of supervisory experience Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and direct a team towards achieving operational and sales targets. Demonstrate the ability to communicate, present, and influence key stakeholders at all levels of an organization Experience delivering client-focused solutions to customer needs Preferred Qualifications Proficiency in CRM systems and order management software
