One of the UK's leading brands in the supply of General Merchandise, Wrapping and Gifts is looking to recruit a National Account Manager who will lead and manage the relationship with several retail partners in the convenience and high street channel. You will be based at their modern and vibrant West Yorkshire based office 2 -3 days per week, with the rest home / remote working. About the job As the National Account Manager, you will be responsible for the day to day running of the account, being the primary point of contact with the Buyers, ensuring joint business plans (JBPs) run in line with pre-agreed service levels. You will be the custodian of the relationship with the relevant commercial contacts at the retailers, maintaining high levels of service for your accounts to maximise sales and category performance. About the person To be considered for this exciting and challenging role, it is essential you have experience of managing accounts in the high street and / or convenience sector such as Boots, Superdrug, Savers, Co-op and Spar. It would be advantageous if, added to this, you will have experience of dealing with the high street specialist retailers such as Card Factory, Ryman, WH Smith and The Works. This will be underpinned by your proven track record of success in the commercial space with your first-rate negotiation, relationship building and influencing skills. You will be a confident communicator with a high level of commercial acumen.
