Interaction Recruitment is looking to recruit 2x Aluminium and Wood Prefabrication Operatives on a full-time and permanent basis.
The company is a rapidly expanding vehicle conversions and solutions provider, tailored to the customer’s specific requirements, drawing on over 50 years of industry experience innovation and recognised craftsmanship.
The role is based on site in Fishponds Bristol, working Monday to Friday 7.30am to 4pm. Overtime is required.
Duties:
1. Perform pre-fabrication tasks according to specifications and blueprints
2. Assemble components using various tools and machinery.
3. Determine the appropriate assembly method based on requirements
4. Operate angle grinders / rivet guns to prepare the parts .
5. Use different machinery in the workshop – routers, wall saw, band saws (training provided)
6. Maintain equipment in a condition that does not compromise safety
7. Work with variety of aluminium/ steel/ wood materials to suit for production needs.
Qualifications and skills:
8. Good assembly experience in fast paste environment
9. Problem-solving abilities
10. Basic math skills for measurements and calculations
11. Familiarity with a variety of hand tools and power tools used in fabrication
12. Significant work experience in a similar environment
13. Being able to work to 1mm tolerances
Interviews:
Interviews will take place onsite in Bristol and will include a practical assessment.
Hours 07.30am-4pm Monday - Friday
