Woodland Nursery School is managed by the Headteacher at St John Ogilvie Primary School, Livingston. The setting provides a mixture of full day and half day placements and the nursery is open 50 weeks per year with staff working flexibly across the opening hours. A vacancy, covering maternity Leave, has arisen for an enthusiastic Early Years Officer to lead our well established team within the nursery. A recent Care Inspectorate visit graded the ELC as Very Good across all areas. Within Woodlands Nursery School we offer a wide and varied curriculum with play at the centre. We benefit from two large outdoor spaces which we are hoping to further develop over the coming session. We also have access to our own woodland space with Fire Pit which is shared with St John Ogilvie PS. Experience or a strong interest in outdoor play would be desirable. This position requires registration with the SSSC. The successful candidate will have six months from the date of commencement of this post to become registered with the SSSC. SSSC stipulate you must submit your application within three months of your start date.
