Job Description: Pharmacist
Green Cross Pharmacy, a well-established and respected independent community pharmacy in Ipswich, is looking for a passionate and experienced Pharmacist to join our team. We pride ourselves on providing exceptional healthcare services and building strong relationships with our local community.
About the Opportunity:
As our Pharmacist, you will be a key member of our team, responsible for delivering high-quality pharmaceutical care. You will provide expert advice, dispense medications accurately, and contribute to the overall well-being of our patients. You will also have the opportunity to develop and implement clinical services, enhancing patient outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
Accurate and efficient dispensing of prescriptions.
Providing comprehensive medication advice and counselling to patients.
Conducting Medicines Use Reviews (MURs) and New Medicine Service (NMS) consultations.
Managing and supervising pharmacy technicians and support staff.
Ensuring compliance with all GPhC standards and pharmacy regulations.
Maintaining accurate patient records and documentation.
Contributing to the development and implementation of clinical services.
Building strong relationships with patients, prescribers, and other healthcare professionals.
Handling controlled drugs in accordance with legal requirements.
Managing stock control and inventory.
Essential Requirements:
A Master of Pharmacy (MPharm) degree.
Current registration with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC).
Proven experience as a Pharmacist, preferably in a community pharmacy setting.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong clinical knowledge and decision-making abilities.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
A patient-centered approach and a commitment to providing excellent care.
Knowledge of NHS services and procedures.

Schedule:
Full-time, 37.5 hours per week.
Monday to Friday, with occasional weekend availability.
