My Client in Northampton is currently in need of an Accounts Semi Senior due to expansion.
The Role
1. Building long-lasting client relationships.
2. Working on a variety of interesting and complex accounts assignments across multiple sectors, liaising with seniors, managers, and partners when required.
3. Using a variety of accounting software packages including CCH, Sage, and Xero.
4. Developing and applying your technical and commercial knowledge.
5. Ensuring assignments are completed to a high standard, on time, and within budgets agreed with Directors.
6. Preparing working papers and statutory accounts for sole traders, limited companies, and partnerships.
7. Preparing and reviewing corporation tax computations.
8. Managing your own workload in a timely and efficient manner while ensuring we exceed client expectations.
9. Supervising, training, and assisting more junior members of the team.
10. Building productive relationships with team members and colleagues, adopting a collaborative working approach.

About You
1. ACCA / ACA part-qualified or finalist.
2. At least 2 years UK practice accounts experience.
3. Charity experience would be an advantage.
4. University degree with 2.1 or higher or 3 good A-Level results (or equivalent).
5. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and client management skills.
6. Able to produce high-quality work in a fast-paced environment.
7. Team player.
8. Confident, positive, professional, and can-do attitude.
9. Strong IT skills, specifically Excel, and able to pick up new IT packages very quickly.
10. Create a positive impression with clients and staff.
11. Strong attention to detail.
12. A proactive approach, prepared to go the extra mile.
13. Enjoy developing junior staff.
