I am recruiting Aerospace Quality Engineers with experience of working to AS9100.
The role is offered for a 6 month term initially with an hourly rate of £40 PAYE. The role is entirely site-based with no remote working available (due to the nature of the work).
You will be responsible for product quality from the supply chain through to the final customer. As such, you will need the full quality toolkit including 8D, RCCA (Ishikawa Diagram, Fishbone Diagram, 5WHY, IS/IS-NOT, Pareto Charts, Fault Tree Analysis), PFMEA, auditing, PPAP, APQP, FAI, and gauge R&R (the usual stuff).
Previous demonstrable experience of the following is required:
* Lead audits to the AS9100 standard.
* Plan and execute all audits assigned, internal or supplier-based.
* Proactively assess supplier performance and support the areas/departments in the closure of all NCRs raised to the timescales required.
* Support the creation, storage, and management of site, supplier, and customer first article (FAIR) and PPAP documentation.
* Manage/conduct activities in support of New Product Introduction (NPI). These include First Article Inspection Reports (FAIRs) and quality-related PPAP elements.
