The Visitor Welcome Assistant is a key role within Mount Stuart's Visitor Operations Team - as the first point of contact on-site, the Visitor Welcome Assistant is responsible for monitoring all traffic arriving via the main entrance at Heather Lodge and signposting visitors, contractors, tenants and other stakeholders as appropriate.

The role is predominantly in an outdoor location, from April to October, with daily 4 hour shifts on a rotational basis, including weekend working. Cover provision in the Roundhouse ticket office or in the Family Entrance may be included on occasion. Two positions are available, one of 3 days per week, the other initially also of 3 days per week, increasing to 4 days in July and August.
