Job summary An opportunity has arisen for a Band 4 Registered Dental Nurse to join our small, friendly team in the Maxillo-Facial and Orthodontic Department at Harrogate District Hospital. We are looking for someone who is ready for a new challenge, enjoys the satisfaction of providing excellent patient care and works well in a team. The successful candidate will work across the department in all areas, including Max Fax, Oral Surgery local anaesthetic lists and Orthodontics. The 16 hours per week will be worked over two days in our outpatient department. All relevant training will be provided. Main duties of the job To provide assistance and support in a broad range of procedures within our Maxillo-Facial and Orthodontic clinics, keeping the patient at the centre of all we do. This includes supporting our Max Fax clinics, assisting in our local anaesthetic surgical lists (both dento-alveolar and surgical treatment of head and neck skin cancers) and providing chair-side assistance in our Orthodontic clinics. It is expected that high standards of patient care and infection prevention and control measures are maintained.
