Location: Dunstable, UK (Hybrid)
We are seeking a highly skilled Simphony Architect to lead the design and implementation of Simphony, a comprehensive hospitality management system, across our hotel chain. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in solution architecture, deployment strategies, and a deep understanding of the hospitality industry.
Key Responsibilities
1. Design and develop the overall architecture for Simphony implementation across our hotel chain
2. Create detailed technical specifications and integration plans for Simphony deployment
3. Collaborate with IT teams, hotel operations, and third-party vendors to ensure seamless integration
4. Develop and maintain system documentation, including architecture diagrams and process flows
5. Provide expert guidance on best practices for Simphony configuration and customization
6. Lead the technical aspects of Simphony rollout, including data migration and system testing
7. Troubleshoot complex issues and provide innovative solutions during implementation
8. Experience in evaluating inventory management solutions and integrating them with Simphony
Qualifications
1. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
2. 10+ years of experience in solution architecture, preferably in the hospitality industry
3. Proven experience with Simphony implementation and deployment in multi-property environments
4. Strong understanding of hotel operations and hospitality management systems
5. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
6. Outstanding communication and project management abilities
7. Certification in Simphony architecture or related technologies (preferred)
Skills
1. Proficiency in Simphony architecture and related technologies
2. Strong knowledge of database design, API integrations, and network infrastructure
3. Familiarity with cloud technologies and scalable system design
4. Experience with agile methodologies and DevOps practices
5. Understanding of hospitality industry standards and compliance requirements
This position requires occasional travel to hotel properties for on-site implementation and support and needs to be based out of the UK.
