My client is a highly regarded Life company who currently have a management opportunity for a qualified Actuary (or experienced part-qualified) to join their reporting team. Day to day duties will include:
1. Being the lead for Actuarial reporting (Solvency II, UK GAAP, IFRS)
2. Ensuring the reporting team's workload is managed effectively
3. Preparation of methodology and assumption papers
4. Production of financial reports for the Audit committee
5. Working with wider teams to meet shared objectives
Applicants will be qualified or part qualified Actuaries with a background in modelling techniques and financial projections. You will also possess reporting knowledge of Solvency II, UK GAAP and/or IFRS17. Outstanding analytical and problem-solving skills are a must along with a positive approach and excellent communication/leadership skills.
