Are you a Workshop Manager or similar with experience in mechanical or electrical engineering looking for the opportunity to build a career within a market-leading equipment rental company? This role offers a dynamic work environment, a Monday-to-Friday schedule with occasional Saturdays and Sundays.
On offer is the opportunity to work for a fast-growing company with many branches across the country, working on a diverse range of top-tier equipment. The company is looking to expand further by doubling their headcount at this site, in addition to having over 300 employees across Ireland.
This role involves:
1. Supervising team productivity.
2. Managing work allocation and adjusting schedules based on priorities.
3. Monitoring and controlling stock levels.
4. Supporting and developing team performance.
5. Collaborating with the purchasing team for parts and supply chain support.
6. Ensuring the workshop is organized and safe.
7. Handling customer repair work.
8. Maintaining accurate documentation of service department procedures.
This role would suit a Workshop Manager or similar with experience in mechanical or electrical engineering looking to step into a hands-on position within a growing company that can provide training towards qualifications, career progression to management positions, and a host of company benefits.
THE PERSON:
* Mechanical/Electrical qualification
* Management background
* Commutable to Cookstown
THE ROLE:
* Oversee team productivity and manage work allocation.
* Control stock levels and manage repair jobs.
* Support team development.
* Ensure workshop safety and organization.
* Handle customer repairs and provide accurate cost estimates.
* Collaborate with purchasing and participate in team meetings.
* Maintain documentation.
