Interim Buyer / Purchaser - Havant - £30,000 - £35,000
Do you have at least 2 years' experience within manufacturing procurement?
We are recruiting for a Buyer to cover maternity leave for a global manufacturing organisation based in Havant. This is an office-based role and will be on a 6 month contract. If you have some previous experience in procurement, ideally in manufacturing, this interim buyer role would be ideal for you and gives you a chance to work for a global, multi-site company.
Responsibilities
1. Evaluating MRP demand
2. Raise and issue purchase orders
3. Communicate between production, planning and procurement teams regarding material shortages.
4. Actively communicate with suppliers to request order confirmations and update on the MRP system.
5. Manage and resolve supplier non-conformances.
6. Produce daily reports via our in-house reporting system
Requirements:
1. Ideally at least 2 years experience within purchasing or a similar procurement role within manufacturing
2. Strong IT skills, MS Office such as Excel
3. You will be organised and a good communicator
Package
1. Salary circa £30,000 - £35,000
2. 25 days holiday plus bank holidays
3. Working hours are Monday to Friday 8am - 4:30pm
