Delivering planned and reactive maintenance in a high-volume production facility, maintaining automated and semi-automated equipment, and ensuring facilities maintenance are key responsibilities of this role.
* Key Responsibilities:
* Delivering planned and reactive maintenance within a high-volume production facility
* Maintaining automated and semi-automated equipment such as conveyors, presses, cutting machines, guillotines, cnc machinery and levelling machines
* Ensuring facilities maintenance
* Follow work methods and procedures to ensure the smooth running of plant equipment
* Solve equipment issues using effective fault diagnosis skills
* Implement immediate containment, together with longer term innovative solutions
* Ensure all documentation is completed as required
* Follow routine preventative and predictive maintenance programs
* Liaise with and supervise external contractors whilst on site
* Maintain, document and order critical and consumable spares consignments
* Carry out overhauls, upgrades and rebuild equipment
* Undertake the commissioning and installation of new equipment
Requirements:
* Must be time served and multi-skilled with an Electrical bias
* Experienced working within a high-volume production environment
* PLC experience is preferred – Siemens S7
* Mechanically competence
* FMCG experience is preferred
* Experience in pneumatics, hydraulics and conveyor control systems
* Experience in manufacturing environments preferred
* Ability to prioritise & manage multiple opportunities and deadlines

Benefits:
* Annual salary of circa £42K-£48K depending on shifts worked
