Property Services Manager (Repairs) St Austell £51,010 per annum An exciting opportunity has arisen with Ocean Housing Group for a permanent, full time, Property Services Manager within our Property Services team. Working within our Repairs division, you will be expected to drive and develop all the service areas within Routine Maintenance and Damp Mould and Condensation (DMC). You will develop and implement work programmes, continuously monitoring and maintaining performance to ensure that Tenants needs are met. People management is essential, as you will be overseeing a staff resource of approximately 40 qualified and dedicated individuals, ensuring they each provide a high quality, efficient and value for money customer focused service. Youll support the team and create strategies that improve service delivery and performance, whilst ensuring that budgets are maintained (approx. £5m). Youll maintain and present regular reports, providing updates on work areas and highlighting improvements necessary, whilst adhering to strict regulations and ensuring budgets are maintained. Youll constantly review routine maintenance and DMC services and promote emerging initiatives for existing buildings maintenance to ensure better homes for our tenants. Educated to NVQ level 4 or equivalent in a relevant building trade, you will have extensive experience of managing a property maintenance / construction management function. Youll be accustomed to managing budgets and team performance, ensuring individuals have the resources needed to meet their objectives. You will be a hands-on manager with a strong knowledge and understanding of maintenance and repairs, who can identify necessary improvements and ensure works are completed on time. Youll understand the importance of continuous improvement and change management and will be able to identify areas to increase customer satisfaction and team performance. A confident communicator, you will feel at ease liaising with both internal and external stakeholders and demonstrate a passion for cultivating exceptional customer service.
