The Role We are looking for a dedicated and experienced Catering Supervisor to join our Older Peoples Residential team in Clitheroe and help us maintain these high standards. As our Catering Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the kitchen, ensuring that all meals are prepared to the highest standards of quality and hygiene. You will manage a team of kitchen staff, providing guidance and support to ensure efficient and effective service delivery. Your role will also involve menu planning, stock control, and maintaining accurate records. You will play a crucial role in ensuring that our residents receive nutritious and delicious meals that meet their dietary needs. About you As the ideal candidate for this role, you will have a recognised catering qualification and substantial experience in a similar supervisory role. Your strong understanding of food costing, specialised diets, and basic hygiene practices, as well as the nutritional needs of our residents will be key to the success of your role. We are looking for somebody who is proactive, can work independently and make decisions under pressure, with excellent organisational and team leadership skills.
