The AA is seeking a Digital Marketing Manager to join their team. Reporting to the Group Head of Performance Marketing, this role involves managing digital marketing activities for AA Cars and Financial Services P&Ls. Additionally, the manager may oversee other AA P&Ls, including Roadside, Driving School, Insurance, SMR, and DriveTech.
As the Digital Marketing Manager, you’ll be responsible for defining and executing the digital marketing strategy for AA Cars and Financial Services P&Ls. You’ll collaborate with stakeholders, present in meetings, analyse channel performance, and effectively manage agency partners by aligning KPIs with business goals.
What will I be doing?
* Digital Marketing Strategy: Support in setting and progressing the digital marketing strategy for AA Cars and Financial Services P&Ls.
* Paid Media Management: Own and manage all digital marketing activities for AA Cars and Financial Services P&Ls.
* Performance: Monitor digital marketing channel performance to achieve target KPIs.
* Forecasting and Market Insights: Responsible for channel forecasting and budget management and monitor and report market and competitor changes to key stakeholders.
* Agency Management: Collaborate with agency partners to support them in optimising and reporting on performance
* Opportunity Identification: Work closely with colleagues to identify opportunities to either grow volume or drive efficiencies
* Testing and Measurement: Recommend and manage an ongoing in-channel test Develop a test and learn roadmap.
* Reporting and Collaboration: Regularly report campaign results to P&L stakeholders including owning week Trade reporting and quarterly business reviews. Collaborate with Digital, SEO and Brand teams to develop compelling campaigns and to ensure customer-centric messaging.
What do I need?
* Paid Search Expertise: Experience hands on managing and optimising performance across Paid Search campaigns (Google and Bing). Additionally, experience in Paid Social (Meta) is desirable
* Budget Optimisation: Proven track record of optimising media investment across digital marketing channels with budgets exceeding £1 million.
* Innovation and Initiative: Demonstrates continuous innovation and initiative in digital marketing strategies.
* Performance-Driven: Target-driven and focused on driving performance improvements.
* Google Analytics Proficiency: In-depth knowledge and experience using Google Analytics for reporting and analysis.
* Communication and Organisation: Excellent communication, organisation, and presentation skills.
* Passion for Digital Marketing: Demonstrates a clear passion for digital marketing and a customer-first mentality.
* Tagging and Tracking Awareness: Understands tagging and tracking requirements for digital marketing campaigns.
