The successful Special Needs Teacher (Secondary) candidate will help to deliver a broad, balanced and ambitious curriculum and help to develop a therapeutic, nurturing environment set up to meet a range of needs associated with a diagnosis of autism including communication and associated learning difficulties. You will be working with young people who have complex needs and your ability to develop trusting relationships with the young people and staff will be crucial. An interest in developing your teaching approaches and a desire to improve these students’ lives is essential combined with an ability to contribute to the overall development of our school.
