The Best Connection is currently seeking a Cleaning Supervisor to join our client’s team in Central Birmingham. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced individual with a passion for cleanliness and team management. As a Cleaning Supervisor, you will play a key role in overseeing cleaning operations across various client sites, ensuring the highest standards of hygiene and cleanliness are maintained. This will be a temporary ongoing assignment with an immediate start.
Key Responsibilities:
* Supervise and lead a team of cleaning staff, ensuring daily tasks are completed efficiently and to a high standard.
* Assign cleaning tasks and monitor the team’s performance to ensure work is completed on time and to specifications.
* Perform regular inspections of all areas, ensuring compliance with cleaning standards and safety regulations.
* Provide training and guidance to new staff on proper cleaning techniques, equipment use, and health & safety procedures.
* Keep records of cleaning schedules and activities.
* Report any issues or maintenance needs to the management team.
Requirements:
* Previous experience in a cleaning supervisory role or similar position.
* Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team.
* Knowledge of cleaning practices, equipment, and safety procedures.
* High attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining excellent cleaning standards.
* Excellent communication skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Flexibility to work shifts if needed.
Hours of work:
* 17:00 - 21:00
* Monday - Friday
