* This role willrequire for you to work with the supplier to understand programmestatus and key issues, maintaining telecoms and meetings with aregularity as appropriate to the status of the programme and ensurethat suppliers are aware of the National/EF programmerequirements
You will engage with suppliers toestablish future equipment requirements and ensure that productobsolescence is managed through the engineeringlifecycle A requirement will be to support theFinal Assembly Line & Flight Development Line to ensure thatDASS equipment is available to meet programmerequirements A key task is to continue toidentify ways to help improve ground equipment, training andtechnical publications used to operate and maintain our equipmenton the Final Assembly Line andIn-Service Maintaining the equipment programmeplans, status information and issue slide to keep them topical withthe latest information to support the team reviews will beparamount You will be supporting the supplierbid process through support to the DASS procurementteam
Your skills andexperiences:
* Demonstrableexperience of software and hardware development
An understanding and knowledge ofthe engineering lifecycle A degree in a STEM subject orequivalent with relevant experience gained on an aircraftengineering project or relatedfield The ability to develop and present arange of complex data to a variety ofstakeholders The ability to manage tasks acrossmultiple contracts, balancing priorities and workload across ateam

The DASS Equipment EngineeringTeam: TheDefensive Aids Sub-System (DASS) System consists of the DefensiveAids Computer (DAC), Electronic Surveillance Measures (ESM),Electronic Counter Measures (ECM) and Missile Approach Warner(MAW), providing platform survivability and situational awarenessand the Chaff and Flare Counter Measures Dispensing Systems(CMDS).
