We are seeking an experienced Logistics Manager to manage the business logistics co-ordination, cost negotiations, transport scheduling and process associated customs import/export declarations in a timely manner. The Role: Plan and manage logistics, transportation, and customer services of same. Direct, optimize and coordinate full freight order cycle. Meet cost, productivity, accuracy and timeliness targets. Liaise and negotiate with suppliers, manufacturers, retailers, and consumers Keep track of quality, quantity, stock levels, delivery times, transport costs and efficiency. Create and maintain relevant KPI metrics and analyse data to assess performance and implement improvements. Manage the business inward processing relief (IPA), duty saving on our battery commodities. Manage all TSS transactions to ensure accurate and efficient system transactions. Act as the point of contact to resolve any arising problems or complaints. Supervise, coach all internal supply chain colleagues involved in the process. Comply with laws, regulations, and ISO requirements. Coordinate and control the order cycle and associated information systems. Analyse data to identify and plan for future logistics needs. The Requirements: 5 GCSE Grades A-C to include Maths and English or equivalent. Logistics cert or Transport CPC qualification and minimum 5 years in a Logistics/Transport Supervisory Role. Extensive experience in managing international logistical movements and history of managing transport across different locations. Negotiating and managing contracts with suppliers. Planning and overseeing incoming and outgoing deliveries and Overseeing logistics, warehouse and transport services. Planning and analysing budgets and expenditures. Resolving complaints and issues regarding the supply chain. Computer Literate with experience of spreadsheets and databases. Experience of computerised Stock control systems. Suitable experience supporting a high-volume production line build program.
