The Atlas Program is leading a major transformation on IT topics inside AXA (both GO and entities) with multiple streams/scope of activities; it will lead to a major adoption of public cloud. Launched in January 2023, the foreseen duration of the program is 4 years.
Atlas is the largest transformation program in AXA with a high level of expectations and visibility in the Group. The program is organized in streams:
1. Strategy & TOM
2. POD Build
3. MPI Build
4. Exit from Private IaaS
5. Core IT refresh
6. Technical services rationalization
7. Exit from Core IT and unmanaged Public IaaS
The global delivery and coordination is done in a transversal Strategic Program Office. To enhance the steering and the delivery of the Program, a new notion of cluster of Entities has been introduced in ATLAS. One main driver has been to regroup in the same cluster all the entities sharing the same GO Data Center (like for example the Swiss DC cluster regrouping AXA CH and AXA UK or the German DC cluster regrouping all entities based in Germany and Belgium).
Within the ATLAS Program, the Entities Clusters Program Manager:
* Will be the key interlocutor for entities Program managers to ensure coordination of activities, secure smooth execution of applications migration and Core IT refresh. Depending on the size and complexity, one Program manager will handle 2 to 3 clusters of entities.
* Will handle monthly reporting, track deviation and ensure all remediation actions are taken.
* Will ensure proper stakeholder management and resolve crisis situations.
* Will prepare and lead the monthly Cluster Steering Committee.
* Secure smooth execution of applications migration and Core IT refresh on entities' side.
* Responsible for overseeing multiple programs to ensure timely execution.
* Run programs review meetings so accurate progress is reported to the program director in a timely manner.
* Manage interdependencies between projects and coordinate all actions required in ATLAS streams for the benefit of the Clusters.
* Analyze, evaluate and escalate any program risks to sponsors/key stakeholders along with recommendations to support quick decision-making.
* Work closely with the Clusters sponsors so projects are delivering expected outcomes and reducing risk as expected.
* Effectively communicate with programs/sponsors/stakeholders to ensure alignment on the latest progress and upcoming milestones.
* Identify roadblocks and propose mitigation plans.
* Prepare and lead the Monthly Cluster steering committees (attendees are entities Program managers and CIOs).
The Program manager will represent the Atlas program in the Monthly Cluster steering committees; hence a strong senior profile is required to enable interactions with senior program managers and CIOs.
