Our dynamic and growing Planning department is seeking a new Associate solicitor to join our Putney office or central London office to grow and develop the practice further; the planning team sits within our real estate group.
Having a reasonable understanding of the firm’s values and culture, you will be keen to raise the profile of the team. You will represent our clients to the highest standard. You will be eager to broaden your range of expertise and skills.
This role would suit those wishing to work in a warm, collegiate environment, where associates at every level are encouraged to either lead or support business development and management initiatives.
Technical skills and expertise
You will undertake varied and high quality work, which will includes 106 agreements, compulsory purchase advice (compensation advice and settlement agreements), strategic advice on planning applications, planning appeals, promotion agreements, CIL advice, judicial reviews and high court challenges, highways agreements, CLEUD and CLOPUD applications, advice on permitted development prior approval applications, planning aspects of due diligence.
It is also essential that you are able to demonstrate that you can develop and maintain good client relationships.
We have a wide range of clients including energy companies, strategic land owners, property developers, land promoters, charities, retailers and individuals.
