Role The Commercial Analyst drives venue, channel, and product performance by managing inventory, analysing site and campaign data, and producing accurate trading and marketing reports to inform strategic decision-making. By turning insights into actionable strategies, they drive initiatives that lead to measurable improvements in performance, efficiency, and overall business outcomes. Responsibilities Provide insights and analysis on venue, chain, and channel performance in line with budget targets, while monitoring daily performance across bookings, vouchers and call centre to ensure progress against plan. Analyse key commercial levers to inform the product team’s strategy. By examining market trends and customer insights, you will identify opportunities to align product development with business objectives. Manage inventory availability based on demand, working with the Product team to source additional inventory and coordinating with the Inventory and Quality Control Manager. Analyse site performance, campaigns, specific venues, genres, and pages, providing data-driven insights to support planning, reviews, and performance improvements across the Product and Marketing departments. Own the production, presentation and management of trading reports, through close collaboration with SMT members. Identify strategic and tactical opportunities to increase average transaction value (ATV) and margin, while scoping additional revenue opportunities and assessing their potential benefits and costs. Develop and manage incentive schemes to motivate team performance and align with broader business objectives. Assist the digital marketing team in shaping strategies and guiding marketing efforts. Requirements Experience in analysing commercial and marketing data to generate actionable insights Knowledge of e-commerce, travel, or hospitality industries is preferred. Familiarity with coding languages such as SQL (familiarisation of extraction & manipulation of data from BigQuery or similar) Strong written and verbal communication skills for presenting data insights to stakeholders. Strong communication and interpersonal skills Proficiency in managing and troubleshooting GA4 setups, workflows and processes preferred Hybrid working model with a requirement to attend the Brighton office at least 3 times a week.
