Role
As a Team Leader, you will be responsible for your own personal billings as well as the performance and billings of your team.
Team Leading Tasks
* Working closely with your manager/director, you will find, interview and select consultants to join your team.
* You will be responsible for helping team members with planning, monitoring and analysing their business through regular meetings and performance reviews.
* Coaching, training and development of team members.
* You will build a group of individuals into a strong and highly motivated team by creating a fun, competitive and supportive environment.
Personal Recruitment Tasks
* In addition to your team leading tasks, you will act as a role model through consistent performance and billings and by acting as a positive ambassador for the company.
* You will recruit mid-to-senior level staff within your assigned functional area of the Life Sciences sector. You will be a highly-regarded specialist and market expert in this area.
* You will be expected to have a good base knowledge of the pharmaceutical sector across all areas and easily adapt to different positions you’re sourcing for. You will also have an understanding of the contract and permanent market and know the main differentiators between the two types of recruitment. (Full training provided).
* You will work closely with new and existing clients to build long-term relationships that result in billing opportunities for yourself and other team members.
* You will be responsible for finding and selecting suitable candidates for your vacancies using a variety of candidate generation techniques such as advertising, database searching, social & professional networking, referrals and head-hunting.
* You will help prepare candidates and clients for interviews and will manage subsequent job offers to ensure desirable outcomes for all parties.
* You will be expected to achieve key business indicators that will include (but not be limited to): Placements made, interviews arranged, and new candidates sourced.
* Working as part of the wider sales team, you will work in accordance with company procedures such as following sales process, updating database systems and sharing information for the best interest of the company.
Skills & Experience
* Degree educated or equivalent.
* You will have several years’ previous recruitment experience with a proven track record of successful billings.
* Experience of recruitment within the Life Sciences sector is preferred but not essential.
* You will have experience of either successfully leading a team or of mentoring others to achieve consistently high levels of performance.
* You will be able to demonstrate using practical and personal examples the competencies identified in the Competency Framework document.
