Senior Project Development Manager
Location: UK
Salary: DOE - £75k - £95k plus bonus & benefits
Remote with regular trips to London HQ / Site Visits across the UK.
Circular Resourcing are pleased to be searching for a Project Development Manager to join a fast growth Renewable Energy Developer based in the UK.
You will join a well-established, and growing Development Team managing some of the largest Solar & BESS Farm Developments in the UK, with some projects within the portfolio upwards of 300MW.
You’ll work closely with Senior Project Development and Technical Personnel across the business units to push projects along to RTB stage.
Previous Utility Scale experience in the UK is essential.
Responsibilities
* Pro-actively manage projects within your portfolio to ensure successful progress through the planning process.
* Provide regular updates to senior leadership on progress in terms of programme, risks and provide financial updates re spend vs forecast.
* Prepare and issue application for payments to sub-contractors monthly.
* Act as first point of contact with the wider project team of specialists, consultants, and legal advisors.
* Participate in regular meetings with the other Development Managers to coordinate & review current project pipeline, and identify new projects to add to pipeline.
* Participate in site visits and community consultation events, representing the company.
* Attend meetings with stakeholders to ensure appropriate progression of the projects.
* Keep fully informed of key market developments and industry news to quickly identify insights for risks and opportunities for the project pipeline.
Qualifications
* Demonstrable Solar and / or BESS experience working within the UK Development Sector at a Utility Scale.
* Knowledge of financial forecasting and controls
* Experience managing programme with Microsoft Project
* Strong Communicator with both internal and external stakeholders.
* Training / Qualification within a relevant field. (renewable technologies, engineering, geography, law, spatial planning or similar)
