An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Postgraduate Teaching Officer to join the School of Computer Science and Informatics. You will provide comprehensive, professional administrative support to staff and students with the school, with a particular focus on activities associated with postgraduate taught programmes. This will include the administration of all aspects of student dissertations, including allocating students and staff to dissertation projects and managing all associated processes, documentation, and communication.
The successful candidate will have experience of similar administrative or student facing support roles including specialist knowledge of taught programme administration. You will need to be customer focused, with excellent communication (oral and written), problem solving and organisational skills. You will also need to be proactive and work flexibly in a complex and busy environment. You will work closely with the Education and Students Team, the Postgraduate Teaching Academic staff and the Data Science Academy staff. You will be educated to at least NVQ3/ A-level or have equivalent work experience.

Salary: £27,344 - £30,505 per annum (Grade 4), with 4 annual increments to the top of the grade.
