The Digital Sales Coordinator works within established Sales Department guidelines to maximize station revenue opportunities from an order entry, traffic, reporting, analytics, and accounting perspective. The Digital Sales Coordinator is also responsible for assisting the sales team in a variety of functions to enhance the sales process and facilitate the delivery and success of digital marketing campaigns for stations clientele.
Responsibilities:
* Maintains awareness of digital traffic requirements for online ad standards
* Creates SEO focused articles using Lifestyle Show content
* Digital order entry & updates
* Liaises between sales & production teams for developing marketing creative for clients, such as display banners, videos, emails, and other marketing material
* The collection of all necessary client materials, logos, etc., inputting the promo orders and following up with a client summary need to be executed in a seamless and timely manner.
* Corresponds with customers and confers with coworkers to answer inquiries and account management
* Maintains knowledge of technology updates for Facebook, Instagram, Messenger, YouTube, and other social media platforms
* Prepares forms and ad campaign reports
* Maintains files and other business records
* Assist sales executives with all aspects of the digital sales process including, but not limited to: Order Entry, Campaign Monitoring and Coordination, Creative Requests, Creative Trafficking, Reporting, & Analytics
* Assist management with aspects of the digital sales operation including, but not limited to: Digital Sales Materials, Campaign pacing, Campaign Coordination, Campaign Performance Metrics, Communication with both internal and external teams
* Other duties as assigned
Requirements & Specialized Skills:
* BA or BS in Marketing, Advertising, or Communications preferred
* Foundational knowledge of various digital marketing strategies including SEM, SEO, Social, Display, Video, OTT, Mobile and Addressable Solutions, Email and Digital Audio
* Experience in digital marketing coordination or media sales preferred
* Significant knowledge of the local digital marketing services product offering and effective use for clients
* Motivated, enthusiastic, self-starter who can work effectively collaborating in a team environment
* Excellent critical thinking & problem-solving skills
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe Suite, Photoshop, Illustrator, Final Cut, WordPress, GA, GAM
* Experience with Wide Orbit, Monarch, ComScore, Nielsen, & Vivvix are a plus.
* IAB and/or Google AdWords Certification a plus.
* Automotive & database digital marketing experience is also a plus.
* Excellent follow-up, strong organizational skills and attention to detail
* Fluency in English; with excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
* Meaningful contributor in sales meetings on digital marketing topics (ex. best practice sharing, industry trends)
* Be an effective partner with the market’s sales team in generating digital revenue, opportunities and educational opportunities
