If so, we have a fantastic opportunity to join our team based in Bloxwich, Walsall as a Children's Residential Support Worker where we provide a warm and safe haven for our young people. We currently have 2 homes for young people aged 7 -18 with learning disabilities, complex needs and Autism, we provide them the platform to express their views and feelings at all times and help them on their journey into adulthood by teaching them vital life skills. The role is unique as no two days are the same, although this role is demanding, this is far outweighed by the fantastic outcomes we regularly achieve for our young people. We are looking for patient, understanding and resilient individuals who are committed to supporting our young people daily. Ideally you will have some care experience, we are also happy to hear from you if you have worked in a care setting in any capacity or looking to change career and have a genuine passion to make a difference. Shifts for the role will be 10am to 10pm or 8am to 8pm and will include weekends and some Bank Holidays and possible 1 sleep shift so we ask all applicants are flexible to the young people's needs. The rota will be available in advance so you can achieve the perfect work/life balance Salary for the role is £12.50 per hour (plus sleep bonus of £40 per completed sleep) we also offer fully funded qualifications and a mentoring programme to ensure you can reach your full potential and achieve everything you want to whilst with us.
