We have an exciting opportunity to join our Security Lab, focused on AI security in edge architectures. This role combines knowledge of machine learning and system security to robustly protect models and data on client devices. In this role, you will contribute to our security research by analyzing use cases and threats, creating security designs, and building prototypes that will inform the design of future products and services. You will work closely with other AI security researchers and security technologists across our organization. The ideal candidate has a solid background in machine learning, knowledge of computer security, and a strong technical understanding of system software. This role requires an engineer who can influence and communicate effectively. Job Responsibilities Develop new security designs, architectures, and use cases. Build prototypes to test and demonstrate the feasibility of ideas. Document use cases and architecture. Validate the value proposition of use cases with end-users and business partners. Work in a fast-paced environment that iterates and evolves rapidly. Job Requirements Experience in or knowledge of machine learning solution architectures. Experience in or knowledge of machine learning security risks. Strong ML and software engineering skills. Knowledge or interest in computer security. Ability to convey technical knowledge to both technical experts and non-technical teams alike. Preferred Skills and Attributes Knowledge of hardware, firmware, and system software architectures. Knowledge of operating system and hypervisor technologies. Degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience.
