Head of Commercial Proposition | £80,000 - £90,000 + Bonus + Share Options | Hybrid / Bristol
The Head of Propositions will lead the development, delivery and management of propositions, focusing on the needs of its diverse member base. You will play a key role in the delivery of the 3-year strategic plan for the business and have significant input to the development of future opportunities in the market.
The role will oversee the strategy, creation, and ongoing management of propositions, including both existing and new developments, ensuring they align with Purpose, Values and overall Strategy.
You will lead a team of 15 including analysts, managers and commercial marketeers, to ensure the successful delivery and optimisation of propositions and driving the agenda of the commercial transformation roadmap.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Define and lead the Member proposition strategy in line with objectives for Member acquisition, engagement, retention, and growth.
2. Identify, develop, and launch compelling, resilient innovative propositions, using the full marketing mix (product, price, take to market etc.) tailored to different Member cohorts.
3. Lead the business on what Members need now and in the future, to meet the Purpose of delivering financial value for customers, whilst maximising retention and profitability.
4. Lead and mentor, fostering a constant high-performance culture that delivers satisfying careers as well as business objectives. Develop talent within the team.
5. Ensure the team is aligned with the wider business strategy and has the tools, resources, and support necessary to succeed in delivering customer initiatives.
6. Engage with key internal stakeholders and external partners to inform and optimise proposition development and delivery.
7. Ensure Customer Propositions adheres to internal controls and governance as well as operating within the overall market regulatory framework.
8. Engage in cross-functional business strategy, risk management and product development.
9. Utilise market, customer, financial, and operational insights to identify opportunities for new proposition development or optimisation of existing propositions.
10. Lead on annual planning process for Member propositions, ensuring that the 3-year strategic plan is supported by clear, budgeted annual activities and their associated benefits.
11. Lead the development of business cases for all Member propositions.
12. Set and monitor KPIs to measure the effectiveness and success of propositions, making adjustments as needed to ensure continued relevance and impact.
