P.E (Physical Education) Teacher

Salary Scale:
£95 - £120 per day
We are seeking a passionate PETeacher to join our team. In this role, you will supervise class groups during the absence of teachers and oversee the delivery of PE activities. The PE Teacher will be responsible for organizing, coordinating, and managing a wide range of sports activities throughout the school, ensuring an inclusive and active environment for all students.
Key Responsibilities for the PETeacher:
Plan and deliver PE and sports lessons to small groups of students. Organize and oversee sports activities, including swimming and dance therapy, as part of the school’s curriculum. Coordinate a variety of sporting events during lunchtimes and encourage active participation. Develop relationships with the community to promote inclusive PE and sporting activities. Undertake and deliver training to staff in specialized areas such as rebound therapy and therapeutic thinking. Foster both competitive and non-competitive sports engagement, encouraging students' participation in events like sports day and the panathlon. Ensure the proper maintenance of sports equipment, reporting any issues and keeping detailed records. Provide additional classroom and lunchtime support as needed, and assist with school trips and events. As the PE Teacher you will play a pivotal role in promoting physical well-being and encouraging students to develop both their confidence and interest in sports. You’ll also be responsible for safeguarding student welfare, organizing school sporting events, and ensuring equipment is safe and well-maintained.
