Main purpose of job
Product specialist for the Care Facilities, installing, demonstrating and training on Beds, Mattresses and specialist chairs. Working in the care sector that includes Care Homes, Neurological Care, Hospices etc.
Key responsibilities, duties and tasks
* Attending new business sales meetings set by the BD team.
* Promotion and Demonstration of Accora products and services to care homes and other entities.
* Delivering training to care homes and other entities.
* Delivery, set up and training of products as part of our ‘first delivery’ service.
* Using CRM to keep information and activities logged.
* Promotion of webinars and training to care homes and other entities.
* Drop in visits to care homes and other entities to maintain communication and service levels to Home Managers, Care Teams and Maintenance Teams of existing customers.
* Will include UK travel and may include the need for the odd overnight stay.
* May include attendance to conferences.

* Meetings and drop in visits.
* NPS – customer service score.

* Maintain personal and professional development to meet the changing demands of the job and participate in appropriate training activities.
* Undertake such other duties, training and/or hours of work as may be reasonably required and which are consistent with the general level of responsibility of this job, whether that be on-the-job training, in-house training or external training courses.
* Undertake health and safety duties commensurate with the post and as detailed in the Company’s Health and Safety Policy.
* Act as an ambassador of the Company and promote the company brand, always displaying a positive image to customers and members of the public.

Qualifications and training
It is desirable that the postholder has:
* Qualification to A-level standard or equivalent.
Experience and knowledge
It is essential that the postholder has:
* New Business sales experience.
* Experience of using Microsoft Office and CRM programmes.
* Is able to carry out physically demanding work manoeuvring equipment for set up and demonstration.
* Has a general technical ability and is comfortable with set up and build of products.
It is desirable but not essential that the postholder has:
* Relevant product and industry knowledge.
Skills and abilities
It is essential that the postholder has:
* Ability to work cooperatively within a team.
* Ability to work well under pressure.
* Is self-motivated and has drive and ambition to succeed.
* Good knowledge of sales and negotiation skills.
* Excellent communication and people skills.
* Ability to use initiative in a variety of challenging situations.
Other requirements
It is essential that the postholder has:
* Attention to detail.
* Organised, tidy and efficient.
* Accountability.
* Located to be able to collect products from Cambridgeshire H/O.
Laptop provided.
