About the job you’re considering
We are seeking a skilled Remedy Developer to design, develop, and maintain applications within the BMC Remedy ITSM suite. We take a modern approach of working collaboratively internally and externally to achieve high levels of satisfaction both for our clients and ourselves. The ideal candidate will have experience in designing, developing, and implementing Remedy solutions to improve business processes and user experiences. In this role, you will work closely with our technology teams as well as our Automation Development team. The focus of all our staff is to enhance and transform our customer platforms and experience for the better.
Hybrid working: The places that you work from day to day will vary according to your role, your needs, and those of the business; it will be a blend of Company offices, client sites, and your home; noting that you will be unable to work at home 100% of the time.
If you are successfully offered this position, you will go through a series of pre-employment checks, including: identity, nationality (single or dual) or immigration status, employment history going back 3 continuous years, and unspent criminal record check (known as Disclosure and Barring Service).
Your role
* Design, develop, and customize BMC Remedy applications, including workflows, forms, active links, and filters.
* Configure and maintain ITSM modules such as Incident Management, Problem Management, Change Management, and Asset Management.
* Troubleshoot and resolve issues in the Remedy environment and optimize Remedy application performance and ensure scalability.
* Create and maintain technical documentation, including design specifications and user guides.
* Provide ongoing support, enhancements, and upgrades to the Remedy system and collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate Remedy with other enterprise applications.
Your skills and experience
* BMC Remedy ITSM Certification.
* Understanding of ITIL framework and best practices.
* Experience in cloud-based deployments of Remedy application.
* Wide-ranging experience in developing and customizing workflows and integrations.
* Programming skills e.g. JavaScript.
Your security clearance
To be successfully appointed to this role, it is a requirement to obtain Security Check (SC) clearance. To obtain SC clearance, the successful applicant must have resided continuously within the United Kingdom for the last 5 years, along with other criteria and requirements.
