Location : MOBILE – Covering Gillingham, Kent, and surrounding East/Southeast London Areas Contract Type : Permanent Salary : £24,234 - £25,717 per annum, depending upon skills and experience Hours : Full Time, Avg 37 hours per week, Mon – Fri What you’ll be doing You’ll handle a variety of horticultural tasks, including mowing, hedge cutting, weeding, pruning, and pesticide application. Planning and organising daily tasks to meet the specific needs of each site will be key, along with managing stock for plants, tools, and safety equipment. In addition to maintenance, you’ll oversee the safe operation and care of machinery and vehicles, carry out routine administrative duties, and help visitors find graves or memorials. You’ll also ensure health and safety standards are followed, helping to create safe, calm, and respectful environments. What you need to have NVQ level 2 in Horticulture (or equivalent) OR practical experience within horticulture, such as plant identification, sustainable garden practices, and garden maintenance.
