Milton Keynes College Group at HMP Rochester are always looking for passionate and motivated industry experts to join our teams as Teachers/Tutors within the Vocational provision, helping to build learners’ confidence, develop their skills and achieve within a college environment.
Requirements range from single/ad-hoc sessions on an hourly paid basis up to contracted salaried roles. We are looking for individuals with the below skillsets/qualifications who are interested to join the team and support teaching in both the practical and theory elements of our students' learning!

ABOUT HMP ROCHESTER
HMP Rochester is a Category C prison, holding approximately 950 adult male sentenced offenders across two sites.
HMP Rochester’s focus is firmly fixed on reducing reoffending and preventing future victims of crime by preparing offenders for their release through accredited intervention programmes, skill and vocational based training and education, in a pro social environment.
Courses at HMP Rochester include Maths, English, IT, catering, art, mentoring and training, construction skills and much more. Prisoners are supported to gain qualifications and to develop the skills and knowledge that prepare them for a productive, crime-free life outside the establishment and our staff are an essential part of the journey.
The education delivery hours are Monday to Thursday 8.45am – 11.30am, 1.45pm – 4.30pm and on Fridays 8.45am – 11.30am, with staff working on-site 8:15am – 4:45pm each day and 8:15am – 1:15pm on Fridays.
HMP Rochester is undergoing an exciting period of expansion which has created additional roles within this dynamic and innovative team.
