The successful post holder will be expected to act as the first point of contact, dealing with enquiries over the telephone and face to face.
As a Patient Admin Clerk-Registration you will be able to multi task during busy periods is essential, as is a friendly and helpful nature with the ability to adhere to Trust's strict confidentiality guidelines.
Main duties of the job
To receive all incoming referrals.
Register referrals on PAS system including registration of demographic details for new patients.
Ensure referral letter is delivered to relevant consultant within 24 hours of receipt.
Collect referrals once graded from Central Directorate location, including fracture referrals from Emergency Department.
Receive all incoming telephone enquiries and initiate prompt action wherever possible.
Assist with any other duties as required.
Any other clerical duties as delegated by the PSC Team leader or Service Manager.
